Trayectoria del Dr. Juan Núñez Medrano
Dr. Juan Núñez Medrano is a surgeon who graduated from the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana (UAM) Xochimilco, with a specialization in Ophthalmology from the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM) and a Subspecialty in Orbit, Eyelid, and Lacrimal Duct Surgery from Hospital de la Luz in Mexico City. He received training in England for endonasal lacrimal surgery.
With a solid clinical career and more than 1,500 surgical procedures in the periocular region, his experience includes complex orbital reconstructions, anophthalmic socket surgery, tumor management, and advanced orbital approaches.
He combines surgical precision with aesthetic sensitivity, mastering techniques in blepharoplasty, facial fillers, botulinum toxin application, and treatment of facial dystonias.
He is certified by the Mexican Council of Ophthalmology and has participated as a speaker at national and international conferences, in addition to being a co-author of scientific publications in neuroimmunology, refractive surgery, and facial dystonias.
